A Feast of Fungi

A Feast of Fungi
started as a passion project combining my love of mycology with community-sourced recipes featuring Pacific Northwest mushrooms. After launching the concept in 2019 and putting it on hold during COVID, I returned to it in 2025 with fresh eyes and much sharper design skills. The result is a completely reimagined activity cookbook with new illustrations that better capture both the beauty of fungi and my growth as a designer. Now I'm preparing to bring it to market locally in NYC for adventurous home cooks who appreciate beautiful design as much as they do bold flavors.

National Film Festival for Talented Youth (NFFTY)

When Seattle's National Film Festival for Talented Youth (NFFTY) needed fresh visuals for their inaugural Pitch Competition and annual gala, I developed bold, vibrant concepts that created a cohesive throughline between both events. The comprehensive deliverables included social media templates, web banners, animated GIFs, and postcards. These assets continue to serve the organization well into 2025.

Safeway Albertsons

At Safeway Albertsons, I design and produce the weekly circulars and signage that land in 2.3 million households and stores across the Pacific Northwest and Alaska. Working with a small but mighty team, I balance creative strategy with precision execution, crafting everything from bold sale headlines to those tiny-but-crucial price points that make customers stop and shop. I also manage our offshore signage production workflow, keeping projects flowing smoothly across time zones. Four years of juggling multiple weekly deadlines has sharpened my eye for detail to the point where I catch things others often miss.

Illustration and Prints

My style and the media that I find myself working in are ever changing, but recent years have shown consistent patterns of textures and vibrant colors. I aim to keep the viewer’s eye moving throughout the composition by playing with layering. The following works are digital spot illustrations for clients, greeting cards, personal digital illustrations, and printed works on paper—including both silkscreen and linocut prints.
